1. Don't leave deodorant, lipstick, eye pencils, chapstick, chocolate, or other gelatinous based or potentially meltable products in your car.
2. It doesn't matter if you cut in front of someone while driving because everyone does it.
3. Turn signals are only a car accessory.
4. Turn arrows at lights are rare. When turning left, 2-3 cars are allowed to turn once the light is red.
5. There's no such thing as traffic, because there's traffic 24-7.
6. A person can make a living dumpster diving for cans and plastic drinking bottles as proved by the guy outside my window each Saturday morning around 4 a.m.
7. The area code of your phone number MATTERS. 310 is the best, then 323, then whatever. If you don't have either of those, you're screwed.
8. Your home neighborhood also matters to potential employers. People from the Valley are apparently considered slightly neurotic.
9. Every night is a night to go out and play. Lines, lines everywhere every day of the week.
10. It's hot. REALLY hot.
